As a private citizen, she is entitled to her opinion. As a Supreme Court Justice, she should probably show a little restraint in expressing those opinions. Having said that, we must acknowledge that she is under no obligation to show any restraint. Did she cross a line? Maybe. But then, who really cares? If you were a conservative before the interview, then you now have something else to whine about when criticizing her. If you were a liberal, then nothing has changed.

Entitled to have political views however the Supreme Court has no place for politics. The Supreme Court is the only court mandated by the constitution and is meant to interpret the constitution so having less than 10 Justices account for the entirety of the role, to involve politics is to invite illegitimacy.

Dred Scott, Citizens United, Bush v Gore, DC v Heller, and many, many more. All were Supreme Court decisions that were made primarily through political views. Politics has been a pert of the Supreme Court since the beginning. That does not make their decisions any less legitimate. Neither does one Justice voicing a personal political opinion.

Disagree Supreme Court justices are supposed to be neutral thats while you hardly see them stand during a presidents SOU speech so she did cross the line.

She did cross a line but when she said “He has no consistency about him. He says whatever comes into his head at the moment.” This is 100% accurate

One of the joys of not lying is that you don't have to filter everything you say. He may be wrong about many, if not most things, but I would find it hard to accuse him of lying. Hillary, on the other hand...

CPT Jack Durish - He lies all the time. Many of his statements are outright lies and he knows it.

I find it interesting that Justice Ginsburg is so quick to threaten retirement to a distant shore. I would have thought that a Trump presidency would force her to hang on awaiting a President who would nominate a progressive juror to replace her. She should have retired early in the Obama Administration when the Democrats still controlled the Senate.

That's true; I suspect she just wanted to stoke the anti-trump fire.
