My work is just a few miles from Mar del Lago. I live 40 miles south of it near the coast. Just finished with the storm fixings. We are as prepared as we can be right now.
The problem comes with the multitude that barely afford living here and have no way to recover from a storm like this. Having lived all over the world, in earthquake country, volcano country, typhoon country, tornado alley, mid-west blizzards, it is all about knowing what can go wrong and having both a family plan and a financial plan to "weather" the storms.
