All I have to say on their recommended amount of ammo to keep around, ten years worth! That's a pretty substantial investment for a lot of people.
I normally keep about 400-500 rounds with a mixture of range and personal protection ammo (though the guys at the store always look at me sideways when I call them anti-personnel rounds Lol).
