Be careful with the free advice. It may not cost monetarily in the short run, but over the long run it'll cost most dearly.

Unless you have the time and acumen to follow the market, you might think about a fee only broker. If you are losing money, so are they. Their fees are a percentage of your portfolio. I would also make sure they are investing in the same stocks, bonds, ETf's as they have you in.

Well, since I ain't got no stocks, I don't think I'm ready for "it" lol.... and I'm afraid my savings is shrinking.
