Kids in Macedonia made up and circulated many false news stories in the US election
It turns out that a lot of the false news stories shared on social media before the election were generated by teenagers in the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. And according to BuzzFeed News, they made a good amount of money doing it.

See, Trump is even creating jobs and wealth in Macedonia. On the upside for Dimitri, there is probably a job for him at the NYT if he is interested in writing outrageous headlines and support them with "fake news" and opinion.
But seriously, the only people that fall for fake news regularly are people that are too lazy/ignorant/slothful (insert other adjective) to source their news from more than one place. Anyone with an ounce of awareness knows you cannot read thing on the internet (even from reliable sources) and believe you have the entire story. That was also true before the internet. If you only read one paper or watched one news show or read one periodical you would never really know what was going on and there was plenty of fake/biased news then too. There is more now because it is easier to do on the internet. Time for people to wise up.
