The whole COVID reporting is a sh#tshow. We have people reporting about things they have no clue what they are talking about, and public officials that know even less. My friend's mother here in Houston died from dementia a couple of months ago. No symptoms of COVID at all, but her death certificate says she died from COVID, even though they never ran a post mortem blood test for antibodies.... I am sure she wasn't the only one.

This isn't the first time we've seen this "true upping" of the cases and/or death counts that make it look like a huge surge, but what really happened was prior numbers were too low.
