An out-of-this-world discovery led by University of Kansas grad student Alex Polanski found 15 new exoplanets and determined the mass of more than 100 others, in what is the largest one-time survey of exoplanets to date. The survey of planets contextualizes how common Earth's solar system is — which turns out, is not as common as once thought.

It is so amazing that we have a perfect sized sun/star, the perfect distance from our sun, a large moon, just the right size and distance from Earth to become tidally locked to stabilize the Earth and put us on an axis to give us seasons and liquid water. Probably just as important if not most important is our gravity from our sun and moon and the size of our planet keeping our core liquid and providing us with a strong magnetic field to repel most of the solar radiation and some meteors and meteorites. Goldilocks zone or God's plan and creation. I think the latter, but to each his own opinion. Thanks for sharing Brother.
