Great share. The police are just one entity that can access data. Human Resources managers are now creating internet “ doppelgängers” on people. If you are applying for a job your buying habits, web sites you visit etc can all be accessed, and an assessment of your presented persona and your internet persona can be compared.

The courts have more or less ruled that the fourth Amendment does not apply to voluntarily surrendered data - and every single tech platform/ISP/digital ANYTHING has terms of agreement which require you to voluntarily surrender your data. Those companies can, in turn, ALSO voluntarily surrender THEIR data.

The 4th Amendment has pretty much been rendered moot in the technological world. You have no privacy online. And that is exactly how the government wants it to be.
