Some interesting history . . .

I guess we don't know if the hemp Henry Ford used was THC type or rope type. I'm guessing rope.
People talk about hemp being out lawed in 1937 however people who wanted to grow rope hemp required a license to grow it during colonial times. Was it to provide oversight as a way to prevent growing THC hemp? Was it simply harassment of colonists if they wanted to not be heavily taxed for the crop, given that rope was required everywhere thus growing hemp must have been a dependable profitable crop?
