"The hackers are working with the support and encouragement of the technology companies behind the most advanced generative AI models, including OpenAI, Google, and Meta, and even have the backing of the White House. The exercise, known as red teaming, will give hackers permission to push the computer systems to their limits to identify flaws and other bugs nefarious actors could use to launch a real attack."

I’m there now…. The issue is in part that big IT is pushing AI out faster than taking measured steps to secure it. One could argue this is what happened with the build up with the Internet and other ground breaking technologies. The real problem I see that must be address is our elected leaders who make laws must understand it and the implications so that they can get ahead of it. We’re already behind in many aspects with IT now, with respect to solid laws to protect the people while maintaining freedom of speech.
