The luncheon is held every quarter to discuss topics of military and veteran's interests and to raise military awareness in Topeka.
Greater Topeka Partnership's Curtis Sneden says the luncheon is a way to bridge the gap between military and civilian workforces.
"Our military installations are a hugely important part of our economy here,” Sneden said. “In and of themselves they generate hundreds of millions of dollars of economic activity and they're also a very important well of talent for our civilian workforce looking for skilled men and women."
