By having term limits, one is limiting an individuals vote. We should have the right to vote for whomever we wish.

MSG Stan Hutchison, it was congress that created the limited. If they believed it was needed for the president, then it should be for them also.
Passed by Congress in 1947, and ratified by the states on February 27, 1951, the Twenty-Second Amendment limits an elected president to two terms in office.
And besides term limits, I believe that congress should not get a full retirement, maybe 50%. And as for health benefits, they should get the same choices as any other federal employee or have to live with any type of health care system they pass.

Not to be pessimistic, but I doubt it will happen. It certainly needs to, but we are essentially asking Congressmen and women to limit themselves out of a job. I want to be wrong here, but this has been attempted before and failed. States even tried to impose them on their own congressmen and women and the SCOTUS overruled them. Even with Presidential support, this bill would require 2/3rd majority vote for the Constitutional amendment to make it happen.

Plus, 3/4 of the states would have to ratify it after it passes the House and Senate with a 2/3 majority.
