I am not selling this book but for anyone that wants an easy read with stories many can relate to in their military career, I encourage you to read this book.
The author is deceased now. He passed away nearly 6 years ago. I was doing some cleaning the other day and ran across the book. The author was a good friend of mine whom I met at the local VFW Post. Lee was a very kind soul whom all the members of the post respected and loved.
One thing I learned from him was to keep a journal. He had gone years with nightmares and problems and was encouraged to keep a journal which ended up being taken and turned into this book. Our history as veterans is being lost every day as each of us pass on. May it be a written, audio or video journal; we need to document our memories even if they come only occasionally, that way our history is not forgotten.
