The brutality of the dark ages is far more grotesque than the horrors of today.

That is pretty bad for sure. The days of helping other people it seems provide a hazard and a posable risk to Your life. The days of it even being safe to hitch Hike or pick up those seeking rides in that manner are gone also it seems. Now it's seems if someone appears to be in distress, even if You could help it's safer to call the Police and lie them check it out rather than take a gamble it may be someone that actually only needed help.

I am sure ambush attacks are common in any era.. Viking raiders used to make blood eagle sacrifices out of people they didn't like.. I don't understand your chronological snobbery.

Cpl Benjamin Long - All scholarly histories of the Norse. As far as car-jackers, common sense and a law enforcement background. The answer to many disagreements isn't always to demand their sources. Reasonable individuals are still expected to accept obvious facts, even when one might disagree with the conclusions drawn.

CPT (Join to see) so? Nitpicking about autocorrect doesn't make your arguments any less pompous.
