I read two articles based on the link provided and enjoyed the images and history surrounding that young French soldier. What a thoughtful and poignant remembrance by Lt. Rochereaux's family. I am glad the current owners of that house are honouring the original owner's wishes. A wonderfully rare glimpse into one person's life and times in colour from a war that was fought one hundred years ago.
