There is obviously an issue but look at the masterful coverup by one political party, and yes its political. Imagine if this was, let say a religious organization. Lets call them the Catholics. They have a rigid structure, conservative in nature, don't allow women access, let not talk about alternate lifestyles, and in reality must be brought down a peg or two. Image if politicians went after (democrat controlled education= union payback) teachers they way they went after the clergy. Mind you the clergy was covering it up from the highest Hq (Vatican) and knew it was happening and shuffled troubled Priests around. Compare and Contrast that with today's schools. We may sometimes laugh inside and say where were these teachers when I was in school, but wait now we have kids and its personal. Maybe we should expect the same level of trust from teachers as we do our spiritual leaders?

Well put. That is exactly the thing that has always baffled me. It's horrible if the clergy does it and if a school teacher does it. Well then it's "boy where were they when I was a kid" remarks. MPO is jail for both.

This is NOT political! It is not the fault of any political party or ideology. It is nothing more than a very poor decision made by an individual.
As to the original question, I do not see how such a board would be able to root these types out and remove them, until or unless it became public knowledge beforehand.
