Thanks for reminding us SGT (Join to see) that the Fourth Crusade sacked the eastern Roman empire including Constantinople and they slaughtered many innocents in the process.
On the way through the Balkan states they raped, killed pillaged and burned as well.
Knights tended to be noble and chivalrous but the common soldiers were the scum of the earth in those days.
