Former POW Recognition Day

Today is National Former POW Recognition Day. Though many troops unfortunately still remain unaccounted for, those POW's who do return home should also be remembered for their experiences, service and sacrifice. It is on this day that we recognize former POW's for displaying fortitude and determination in response to enemies, often in the face of the unknown and under the threat of imminent danger. Thank you can never be said enough for what POW's endured in service to our country. Lets bring awareness to this very important day.
