First female Viper demo team pilot relieved of command after two weeks

The fact that they didn't say why she was relieved tells me that women are just as capable as men of being a fuckup, but they will get special treatment. I'd bet if she was a man, the air force would have kicked him to the curb after facing a very public courts martial.

Always sad to see something like this happen at a time where the military has made such strides in breaking the gender barrier when it comes traditionally male dominated fields, like aviation.

I don't understand why everyone jumps to the conclusion that this Capt. had some relationship gone bad so she's ousted from the demonstration team? It could be many things including a performance review or medical issue or vote of no confidence by the other pilots in the group. When do they decide something like this? It has to a tough decision.
