I guess I now have to write a thank you note to Putin. I suppose I should wait to see if anyone can determine that the Russian meddling influenced the outcome. It certainly didn't influence my vote nor the votes of anyone else I know who voted for President Trump. Still, the enemy of my enemy is my friend

Maj John Bell - "But I'm pretty damn sure the Russian efforts to influence the election were restricted to propaganda; some disinformation, some true." You should consult our investigative agencies. They have confirmed there was more.

MSgt Lowell Skelton - Propaganda -- information, especially of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote or publicize a particular political cause or point of view.
Unless they were swapping out paper ballots, changing digital ballots, preventing voters from going to the ballots by force, or standing in the voting booth forcing the way ballots were cast, its all propaganda. If I missed something... what?
Our investigative agencies don't have the time of day for me.

I realize facts are scary. 1/3 of state election sites were targeted by Russia, and several were breached. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/elections/u-s-intel-russia-compromised-seven-states-prior-2016-election-n850296
U.S. intel: Russia compromised seven states prior to 2016 election
An Obama official confirms on the record that as of January 2017 the intelligence community assessed that seven states were compromised.

The Trump supporters have the same responses. First they deny there was any interference, then, when interference is proven, they deny there was impact on the election, which cannot be proved one way or the other, then they deny there was any collusion (facts not in yet). Then, they point at our own interference in other countries elections as justification.
Why, after all the years of Republicans scaring us with accusations of the Russian menace, now they suddenly want to be friends with Putin and the Russian oligarchy? It isn't money is it? Or payback?
Why are 7 GOP Senators (finance committee) in Russia right now?

Like the kettle calling the pot black. America has had its hand in so many elections, governments all over the world. “If” it happens to us, WHY how dare they!

I say time and time again, America is not a Democracy. I know this is beside the point but if I can convince one person that - "it is never acceptable for 51% of the people to say it is OK to shoot the other 49%" - Milton Friedman. Our Representative Republic has always been under attack, from its conception in 1776. It almost never even happened but lucky for us it did.
