Scientists have been able to study large numbers of Galaxies in the universe in great detail and they have been able to understand more and more about "Black Holes", which are at the cosmic center of each galaxy... Watch and listen as Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson elucidates on this subject... It absolutely amazes me how much we know based on the Physics of Galaxies in outer space... And...we are encompassed by these billions of galaxies in the Universe!!! We, (Earth) by the way, are but a pea (or a blue dot) in comparison to these galaxies so many light years from us or us from them...

I'll bet some of the old actors like Ernest Borgnine who played in space movies would be fascinated.

Like in science fiction movies, I think what we are learning will one day allow us to use these black holes as a means to travel through space. BUT, there's a long, long way to go.

It is the likes of these types of scientific breakthroughs, that we find God's realm is infinitely big and like you, Jack, I feel the same... We are on the cusp of greater things to come with the knowledge God is gradually providing us with... As Gene stated in his comment, "One day we will know all there is to know."
