COVID-19 vaccinations for the youngest children just might be a step closer.
Moderna intends to seek U.S. authorization for kid-sized shots, releasing early study results Wednesday that suggest the two small doses work in tots younger than 6. Within weeks, competitor Pfizer hopes to learn if three of its even lower-dose shots do, too.
Here’s what is known so far, and what’s next before the nation’s 18 million children under 5 can become eligible for vaccination.
MODERNA’S RESULTS
Moderna says tots as young as 6 months developed high levels of virus-fighting antibodies from shots containing a quarter of the dose given to adults. Full study results are yet to come but the early findings suggest the vaccine may protect against severe illness in kids just like it does in adults.

You know I'm not ready for another round of how bad the Covid vaccination is and my kids won't get it.

I simply don’t see the point of vaccination for kids against covid. All my grand children had covid and were mildly sick for about 36 hours. Now if a kid has underlying conditions that make the disease more severe then yes. It should be done in consultation with a physician.

I have heard an adage like this: "Hindsight is 20/20 and foresight is legally blind'! I have a year's worth of hindsight since you posted this.
Considering getting the vaccine I went to a place that administered the shots. I was handed a clipboard with a form to fill out. After reading and discovering ALL those I would have to hold harmless should I suffer any adverse effects set off enough alarms and raised enough 'red flags' to let me understand they trusted it no more than I do three years later!
Add to that, there is more being learned every day proving that the side effects may be more dangerous and harmful than the virus itself!

Anyone who gives an emergency use only vaccine to a child who has a 99.9999% chance of not contracting/dying of the disease is guilty of child abuse.
