Trump earns kudos from me for even giving the New York Times an interview. Quite a surprise. I won't even line the bottom of my birdcage with The [used, abused, and raddled] Gray Lady.

Sir, aside from the source of the interview, which is really irrelevant to POTUS comments, what do you think about the substance of his answers? Are there any specifics that catch your eye?

MAJ Bryan Zeski - I was pleased with his expressed belief that he would get a fair shake from Mueller. Pretty much refutes the poop stirrers that have Trump moments away from firing him. Beyond that, there wasn't much that I found either unexpected or of particular interest. I repeat, though, my surprise that he gave the NYT the interview. It speaks well of him that he did ... after some of the reporting they've done on him as well as opinion pieces they've published.
