MSgt (Join to see) - We have our share of generals who are addicted by prior successful all out ground combat operations . . . to seize and hold massive tracts of land, to permanent settlements, and to total obedience to their personal leadership . . . who cannot abide the civilian government meddling in what they fervently believe is their holy mission to hold every inch of land ever taken by their holy ground forces.
In General Gershon Hacohen's world view " [ The Two State Solution < under which Israel withdraws from previously captured land > is worse than the Iranian [ Nuclear Halocaust ] threat, because I know how to live with an Iranian bomb on Tel Aviv, God forbid, I don’t want it to happen, but it is war. And I know how to live with the horrible cost of war. I pray it won’t happen, but I don’t know how to live with destruction of dozens of settlements and study halls and synagogues and the exiling of Jews from the Land of Israel. "
Frankly, to pray for nuclear war in preference to civilian pressure to surrender previously captured land for creation of a palestinian homeland is a symptom of pychotic delusion.
Rather like The German Desert Fox Ewin Rommel . . . IDF General Gershon feels the Israeli army is “Holy . . . [ and ] the most beautiful and most important thing created by the Jewish people in the last one thousand years.”
But, the very nature of war, terrorism, and peace have changed . . . making it impossible for society to survive without negotiation and concession to secure the lasting peace. General Hacohen's leadership was essential for survival but he is a dangerous relic of time now past.
The mutually beneficial relationship between the US and Israel is key to peace moving forward.

After evacuating Gaza, a lonely general of faith struggles for Israel’s salvation
God-fearing and ‘unenlightened,’ Maj. Gen. (res) Gershon Hacohen hasn’t lost trust in the ‘holy’ army, but believes an Iranian nuke on Tel Aviv is preferable to a two-state solution
According to sources here and in Washington, the US offer now stands at $3.8 billion annually, $3.8 Billion to continue to support the welfare state of Israel - when will the so called American people wake up to the understanding that the US was created by the Jews and is owned by Israel and the Ashkenazim? Of course the $3.8 billion only goes to the Ashkenazi (ask a NAZI) Jews; not the Sephardic Jews.
Stop giving my damn tax dollars to the damn Israelis!!!

Of course, altruism does not exist in governments, cash buys influence. We never make good choices in the long game.

That being said, wishing for a nuke on Tel Aviv, and the death of most Israelis is absolute lunacy. The General needs to be retired medically ASAP, and perhaps sent to an asylum; he is clearly not safe to be running around in society.
I am very troubled by the "Matzav" (Hebrew - Situation) on both sides, and I don't know what the answer is. What I do know is that Israel as a country has a 3500 year history, in different forms, and that the Palestinians were supposed to find a homeland in Jordan according to the Mandate, but Jordan never let them in.
Instead, the entire Arab world, save perhaps Qatar, who is doing things to help the humanitarian situation in Gaza, has used the Palestinians as nothing more than political pawns. This goes to the point that Palestinians in the West Bank have to go to Jerusalem for medical care, because they are not welcome in Amman...
The Ashkenazi Jews occupying what they call the state of Israel today are NOT descendants of Jacob as Jacob is a descendant of Shem and the Askenazim are descendants of Ashkenaz the son of Gomer, the son of Japheth – NOT Shem.
Israel as a Nation has been scattered for a few thousand years – the Northern 10 tribes were scattered first and the Southern 2 tribes were scattered after 70 AD. The tribe of Judah (so called Negro’s today) scattered to the four corners of the earth taken as slaves by ship as foretold in Deuteronomy 28.
As Ruth Gruber said during Operation Solomon and Moses "It was like watching the Israelites step out of the Bible" Speaking of the BLACK Israelites that were airlifted back to THEIR homeland from Ethiopia.
