Watching Uncensored Crypto (part 1 of a ten part series) tonight, and this quote just blew me away:
"Free forces dependancy, and through dependance, compliance."

His comments came in the context of a discussion he had with the highest ranking defector from North Korea, when he asked, "How does a dictator like that get so much power and control. The defectors answer: through free stuff."
The idea of free leads to totalitarianism. People get free healthcare, free "education," free food, free "money," free whatever and the totalitarian state slowly gains control over a population because the population pays for free stuff with compliance.
As soon as one doesn't comply, they no longer get the "free" stuff.
As I've said many times, the most expensive things are free.
And our #military culture is the worst concerning "free" expectations.
