Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago Resort Files Request To Hire Foreign Workers — Again

I will just pretend this is not happening as he seems infallible to many folks.

What everyone isn't seeing is that he has to attempt to hire American for a specific period of time. If no takers he then can file the request for foreign workers. The problem is that where MarE-Lago is located minimum wage jobs that are seasonal are hard to fill with Americans because they don't have full time employment jwith benefits because again they are seasonal. On top of that a lot of uneducated Americans withg very little skills find these jobs beneath them and won't apply...I have personally witnessed this. Foreigners can come in and work, and go home and come back next year. His company is abiding by the laws set forth by previous admins. Farmers have been doing this for over twenty plus years.

I cannot say for sure whether this is a good thing or bad thing. Many media outlets are going to print whatever becomes anti-Trump, and it may very well be he is not playing by the same rules as he projects to others. You can drive around just about any town in America and see help wanted signs on the windows and walls, the newspapers and other local private papers will have help wanted adds, you can got to Monster.com or other websites and seek employment, yet we have a lot of people that do not have jobs or work less hours than are available. The article says only 17 of 300 American applicants were hired. That seems a little off, and as I already stated, maybe there is something shady going on. Where did the NY times get that info? On the other hand, how many jobs are full time with benefits, how much work is involved, how many Americans did they take through the whole process and offer them a job, did everyone that was offered a job take it; perhaps there were some people that didn't want the job for the pay and what kind of work they would have to do. What is the cost of living in the area, what is the commute time, what kind of employee parking is there, and other considerations? Look at the website, it is a very lavish and luxurious place. I would not want to work for 12 or 13 bucks an hour sucking the asses of extremely rich people. Americans are lazy by nature it seems, especially our younger generation. Some of them would rather not have a job and live at mom and dads playing Xbox all day. They probably wouldn't even have the ass kissing skills needed for a place like this. It is kind of funny how people say Trump is a racist and does not want immigration, but then at the same time reports this story where people are being given the opportunity to come here and work for more money than they could in their own country. It is a wonderful idea that Americans could and would do all the jobs in America, but realistically it doesn't seem to be happening. There is the old argument that these people come here and take our jobs. I used to live in Georgia and you see new neighborhoods being built all the time and the majority of labor is Hispanics. Is this because they do it for cheaper, or is it because they will just do it? It is very hot in Georgia in the summer, and many people are not go to lay concrete and shingle houses for 10 bucks an hour. Like I said, could be something shady going on, or it could be people just don't want to work there.
