Unfortunately the people that most deeply need to learn these lessons are also the ones most convinced that there is no issue, and that everything is fine.

10 years active duty, 15 years reserves Army Nurse Corps. I didn’t see it. Black medical Doctors were as respected as white from whaI I saw

Funny - never saw it in all my years and serve with many awesome black officers and enlisted Soldiers in three career fields. Not familiar with her career field though.

I have no doubt that you, a white male, never experienced institutional racism. You're not really the demographic that would.

That's quite racist of you to generalize an entire race in one broad stroke. Racism exists, and people of all races commit racist acts and are victims of racist acts. My point is that it's very isolated. The author of the article found a few people who felt slighted and racist-ly generalized to a whole group. Such a racist article.
