And ----> a great park and fantastic beach. Been there many a time. Also, amazing Spanish-American War fortifications that are still in place. Worth the trek when in the St. Pete Beach/Tampa Bay Area.

Thank You Brother Dale for this story about De Soto. There is a story among the Choctaws about fighting against De Soto and getting their butts kicked because of the armor the Spaniards had.
