Politicians lie...
In other news, water is wet and tomorrow's weather calls for the sun to come up at dawn.

Upon further review, a more thorough examining of the lies here might be warranted.
From where I sit, the big lie is all the "free stuff" we will get if thy are elected and who will pay for it. There simply isn't enough money in the hands of billionaires or the top 1% or what ever to pay for their schemes. If they enact all of it, there is barely enough money in the ENTIRE ECONOMY to pay for their schemes - an economy that will surely contract when all those energy companies go out of business. Not to mention that federal "wealth taxes" have been found un-Constitutional in the past. Or that there is no way in hell any of this nonsense gets through Congress (then again, I thought that about Obamacare too...).
Every politician ever makes up cute stories of their hardscrabble upbringing or whatever, so I discount those kinds of lies - although Sen Warren takes that to a whole other level and has used it to get ahead, so I'd apply more demerits to her.
I don't think Joe knows he's lying sometimes. He is clearly senile. But that new story about being jailed while trying to see Nelson Mandela is problematic because he is clearly pandering to an African-American audience with it, not just a folksy tale of his youth or something. That story about nearly getting in a rumble with "Corn Pop" after calling him Esther Williams is just... I don't even know what that is. I thought the video had to be fake at first.

Oh so true. I do not give Republican's or the President a free walk here either. During the last few Democratic debates there was enough bull shit lies flying around to cause me to sell my hip boots and buy a large raft. I have to wonder if 150 million people are killed every year in the U.S., according to Grand Pa Joe, if there will be anyone around in 2020 to vote.
I better start wearing my issue armor vest again.
God I do love politics today. Best entertainment since Star Wars.

The Dems never duped American's about Obama care. "you can keep your Doctor..."
But Obama lied through his teeth in front of the camera more than once.

You are right on track Sgt Kelli Mays! Both Bloomberg and Biden slammed President Trump for cutting the budget to the CDC when, in fact, He didn't cut the budget, He proposed cutting it... Why? He knew that if He asked for more money congress might not have given it to him, so He proposed a budget cut, and congress approved more money... I'd say President Trump was a very shrewd businessman on this issue... He got what He really wanted... LOL! Excellent post Kelli!
