LTC (Join to see) - "Authorities said the man who shot the attacker had a concealed carry permit and likely would not face charges as a result of his action."
Likely? Likely? The man should get the key to the city for crying out loud!

Sgt Wayne Wood
In Seattle city limits he'd be arrested for violating the rights of the free-market socialist

SSG(P) (Join to see) - I know...my favorite part of those magazines. Someone needs to do a whole magazine dedicated to these stories...kinda like the old Penthouse Forums.

LTC (Join to see) - I've come across more than one person who has attempted to say the one page in "The American Rifleman", with a half-dozen or so reports published in various newspapers of such accounts, are the sum total of such defensive use of firearms.
My response to that claim:
1. The magazine has many other subjects and purposes, and devotes quite enough space to a sampling of such published reports
2. The lowest estimate of defensive use of a gun to end a criminal threat, by anti-gun interests, could not get the number below 55,000-80,000 times a year (at least 150-219 times a day).

Have you ever noticed how these clear-cut, no-doubt-about-it instances of self-defense are often reported as someone "Taking the law into his own hands", conflating legitimate defense against violence with vigilante acts, or personal revenge?

Well someone went all Paul Bunyan with out a logging permit.
Nice to see a CCW holder was there to sort the situation out, It is a shame that the question on if the good Samaritan will be charged even comes up. I don't care who you are if your defending others lives from some deranged individual you should never even have to worried about this BS. But its WA State and like all liberal crap locations the rights of the criminal are more important than the rights of the population.
