They are preparing for an actual war. We are just preparing how to write good NCOERs and OERs in past tense.

what I see is a good old fashion ass whooping..with no way to protect yourself..unless you want more of a good ass whooping that gets progressively worse...

I think it is very interesting. I like Americas Military for sure, much more when I found this. At least we advanced to the UCMJ in 1951, cancelling the old traditional NAVY Military Justice System called Rocks and Shoals previous 1951. Being assaulted by those on my own team, comes a bit personal to me. I never got assaulted by a coach in varsisty sports in High School and I performed well. Personally, I was awarded best recruit meritorious e2, 18yo great lakes chicago, 1994, not because I got the hell beat out of me defenseless, but because I had good leadership that treated me with respect, and with that respect, I gladly defend my own team, and my own guys, and I fall on the sword, and put myself on the line, for each one, and die if needed, for my team. But, once in the fleet, on a ship, years into my enlistment, I got assaulted, fairly violently, maybe not as bad as some of Russian Ass Whooping, but close enough, enough to fuking hate or not trust, anymore fairly quickly, from that point on, with no sense of protection, I took it like these russian recruits it seems, when I was an e4, once by an e9, for no freaking reason, out at sea, because I think he was ready to crack at anything, and I just happened to be there, he did it when no one else was around, just to make sure no one would see, because that was how proud he was of what he did. By the way I am no baby. I wish I could get that guy in a dark room alone, no uniform on, or uniform on, now that I a bit more mature, and a bit more wise, and a bit more willing to draw blood in my own protection, without fear of an e9 pulling rank on me, if I do defend myself appropriately. But anyways, my belief is that I have a much better team, in the long run, that wants to be there, besides being there because they feel threatened. I appreciate your service TSgt Cullinan
