Congratulations to the Civil Air Patrol. I didn't know the original reason for their creation, but find it very interesting.

The Civil Air Patrol was originally to be sub chasers during world war 2. They had some success, I really enjoyed my time with this organization, I attained the rank of Cadet Lieutenant Colonel which is technically the last promotion in the Cadet Ranking Structure other than full Cadet Colonel.
