CFC begins Ulchi Freedom Guardian 2016한미 연합사령부, 2016 을지프리덤가디언 연습 시작

The Republic of Korea and United States Combined Forces Command (CFC) will conduct the annual Ulchi Freedom Guardian (UFG) exercise from Aug. 22 through Sept. 2, 2016. The United Nations Command Military Armistice Commission (UNCMAC) informed North Korea’s Korean People's Army (KPA) through its Panmunjom mission of the exercise dates and the non-provocative nature of this training. UFG is designed to enhance Alliance readiness, protect the region and maintain stability on the Korean peninsula.
