Celtic Woman - Nocturne

As I was perusing music for this New Year's Eve Day, The music of Celtic Woman became embedded in my mind's eye... It is for that reason, I have posted a few of their music performances... I bring you now, Celtic Woman with a song titled "Nocturne"... The name Nocturne puzzled me, so I had to look it up and what I found was this:

"Nocturnes were brief piano works that were inspired by the night. It was Chopin who brought them to their Romantic fruition as a single-movement character piece for the piano. When it was transcribed for other instruments, the violinists brought nocturnes to their romantic highlight."

Another explanation is that "A nocturne is a poem set at night. From A Poet's Glossary. The following definition of the term nocturne is reprinted from A Poet's Glossary by Edward Hirsch. A night scene. John Donne was the first English poet to employ the term nocturnal to designate a genre in “A Nocturnal upon S." - and so it goes and when one listens to the singing, listens to the orchestral music and the associated choreography, one can grasp a sense of Celtic Woman's Song by the same name fits the narrative's I've stated herein.
