We invite you to celebrate Women History Month and Women in Military History by joining us for the graduation of REBOOT Workshop Class 87 (all women) sponsored by Wells Fargo and Soroptimist International of LaJolla on Friday March 24, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the MLB Center for Military and Veterans Reintegration located on the Point Loma Nazarene University Mission Valley Campus at - 4007 Camino Del Rio South, San Diego Ca 92108. A reception will follow the graduation ceremony.
This month's keynote will be delivered by Dr. Gloria McNeal, who currently serves as the Dean, School of Health and Human Services, at National University. A former Navy Nurse Corps Officer, Dr. McNeal is a nationally board certified advanced practice nurse with more than 35 years of academic and clinical experience in the discipline of nursing.
A prolific author of over 140 articles, abstracts, books and book chapters, she is widely published in the field of nursing on issues related to cultural competence, telehealthcare, and critical care nursing. An inspirational leader, Dr. McNeal was recently named by the San Diego Business Journal as a Woman Who Means Business awardee. Read her full bio here:

Thanks for honoring military women COL Mikel J. Burroughs. As you well know, I was a part of the first USMAPS and USMA, West point classes which included women as cadet candidates and cadets respectively. Attrition was challenging for both genders at USMAPS and USMA. Somewhat less than 2/3 of my USMAPS class graduated an went on to be USMA cadets.
Less than 50% of the first women cadets graduated from USMA while our overall graduation rate was just under 60%
