USSOCOM Warrior Care Program is looking to fill LNO Positions for SOCOM Warrior Care Program in the National Capital Region and other locations. The work location for the National Capital Region is Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Bethesda, MD. Other locations may include MacDill AFB, Tampa, Fort Sam Houston, TX, Fort Carson, Colorado and Fort Bragg, NC.
The U.S. Special Operations Command Warrior Care Program (Care Coalition) was established in 2005 to provide Special Operations Forces (SOF) Wounded, Ill, or Injured Service Members and their families advocacy after life changing events in order to navigate through recovery, rehabilitation, and reintegration as quickly as possible, strengthening SOF readiness. Whether you are returning operational status, moving into a different field or transitioning into veteran status, the USSOCOM Warrior Care Program (Care Coalition) will help you get there. The command is has the approved funding for several billets in FY18. and FY19 Billets are being populated in the TOD portal for a Reserve (USAR) or National Guard (ARNG) in the rank for E8 / MSG (preferred) with 18Z MOS. E7/SFC (18 Series MOS) will be considered depending on skills, experience (if the applicant was combat injured and a Purple Heart recipient will receive special consideration). Selected individuals must complete indoctrination at HQ USSOCOM and put on 365 COADOS orders with the possibility to extension.
Qualified Candidates submit the following documents:
1. Last 3 NCOERs
2. Military Bio
3. Current APFT /
DA5500 if required
4. Any references or
Letters of Recommendation not required (but can increase changes of a favorable
outcome)
