Unacceptable behavior on his part and although completely legal to say what he said, not advised or condoned on my part. He's also certainly not someone I would want speaking for me (as a candidate or otherwise). So, to be clear, we're now all going to shame all of those who speak similarly to the Police, including spitting in their face, resisting arrest, taking part in riots against the authorities / government, etc...? Is this a standard we can finally agree on? Because it seems as of late, I've been seeing a lot of rationalizations and excuses for this behavior.
