There is an old saying, “When you point your finger, four are pointing at you.” It’s much easier for Canadians to be critical of the USA, than to look within.

Based on my (Hispanic) wife's experience, Las Vegas would be a far better choice than Prattville AL. In 1998, the check-out lines in grocery stores were clearly segregated along racial black/white lines, and my wife felt there was no line for her at all.

It's too bad because my wife was well-received and Carolina. There are people up here in Alberta and then drive around with the North Carolina flag on the back of their 4 by 4 with a 6 inch lift kit. There are racists up here as well.

Still think Southeast is better for any indigenous people compared to Southwest.

Been a while since I've lived close to Canada but based on what I saw when I did, agree. I'd steer clear of Vegas or any southwestern location. Southeast much more tolerant towards indigenous people IMO.
