Gavin Newsom’s Fish and Game Commission to clear the trees in 2020.". I hate when the government, in this case Gov. Gavin Newsom puts their thumb on the scale of the projects environmental clearance to give their buddies in Green Energy a bunch of money. Newsom's action here is illegal but will go forward until someone sues the state to stop him. If I were a betting man I would wager the Environmental Clearance for this project isn't worth the paper it's printed on. Whoever wrote and approved these environmental documents for their federal oversight should be terminated immediately. You don't make mistakes like this.

... every single time we get what we vote for. Talk about a corrupt system, just look at our own. This article is not about political opinion in the least, it is about California, the EPA, regulations, and the law. There is no political opinion here... and I can be suspended for just pointing this out here.
I spent some time at NTC in the mid 80’s and was amazed how beautiful the desert was when you got off the beaten path. Years later performing environmental clearance work, I learned the desert is one of the most fragile ecosystems there is. It is so sad people are raping it like this.

It's sad that government officials can corrupt our laws and regulation like this with virtually no recourse.
