Some confusion here. The link to BizStandardNews is a satire site run by Jamal Whitman. He posts fake news. But in this case, the story is real, mostly. Note that the author is "Mary Washington." It's also not "news," as it comes from a May 5th interview on NPR. It's at http://mediamatters.org/video/2016/05/05/trump-supporter-pat-buchanan-laments-state-white-america/210253
Buchanan has always been the world's biggest bigot. He has stated often and plainly that non-whites are threatening the very existence of America. His books sell quite well. A whole lot of Trumpists agree with him wholeheartedly. They believe that the only good America is the America of their youth, when the US was (insert fairy tale here).
Buchanan and Trump Roger Ailes and Steve Bannon of the Alt Right website Breitbart are all very wrong. They should not be perceived as "American patriots." They are bigots who thrive off the adoration of rank-and-file bigots. In my mind they are anti-American enemies of the Constitution.

I think this what Trump was implying when his party slogan is, "Make America Great Again".

If this is true, it's is wrong.
The only things I would want to come back from our past is the mentality that gave us "ask not what your country can do for you — ask what you can do for your country." and the sense of duty that the "Greatest Generation" exhibited when they volunteered to fight in WWII.

That sentiment is quite frankly the opposite. It is, lets go back to when things were better for me at the expense of others.
