Boykin asks UN for help fighting Chicago violence

The UN has no authority or business interfering with what is happening in Chicago. It is up to the people of Chicago to end the violence. The people through their inactivity and complacent attitude toward law enforcement is what allows the escalation of the violence the city now experiences.

This is colossally stupid. Chicago has a murder problem because it has liberal idiots running the place. Democrats have controlled Chicago for going on a century, they have implemented their liberal policies, they jumped on the Obama "blame the cops" bandwagon and experienced the Ferguson effect. If they want to get serious about reducing the number of murders, they need to abandon their touchy-feely sanctuary crap, they need to ignore race numbers in crime, and they need to support their cops. They could handle this on their own, but they have to re-prioritize. And if they need help, they'll get it from the federal government, not from the UN.

Outreach and touchy feely doesn't work with hardened criminals that are living large from their lifestyle. The criminals don't want training or jobs because they are rolling in cash from their efforts. Does a 15 year old want to sit through High School, attend trade school, to barely make a living wage when he can make a thousand bucks a day slinging drugs? This is an intentional exaggeration but in principle is what it will take, or something similar. Tell any friendlies to get out while they can. Set up temp lodging for them outside the AO. Declare martial law. Send a well armed force and put them on line, with a contingent of bulldozers and combat engineers/demo personnel in trace. Assault through the objective and bulldoze what remains. Once they see what they are faced with they will bug out for the most part. Some won't and that's unfortunate, but they aren't contributing to society now and refuse to change. Repeat as required. Rebuild and repopulate. Don't allow them to infiltrate back in. NGOs and LEOs can clean up what remains. Other cities will take notice. Any surviving criminals will figure out that their lifestyle is no longer viable and adjust accordingly or find another country. Crime will go down, and property values will go up. Jobs will be created, so they can drop their AK and pick up a shovel, and still be alive. No, I don't condone this other than in concept, and realize it's not a viable option. Plan B is just talk about it and get nothing done.
