Immigrant rights advocates were horrified Tuesday by a new report which confirmed that the Trump administration is sending some immigrant children to clandestine facilities that are not known to their families and lawyers and are not equipped to provide care to vulnerable minors.
An investigation by Reveal on Monday showed that at least 16 young immigrants—as young as nine years old and in need of mental or behavioral health treatment—have been sent by the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) to "off-the-books" facilities outside the network of federally-funded detention centers. The administration is housing immigrant children with an even greater degree of secrecy than was previously known, in violation of U.S. law.

This is reprehensible, if true. I'd have to question the source, though.
In keeping with the theme, the black sites wouldn't be a thing if only we had rendition to their country of origin.
We are acquiring all of these problematic cases and for what? There is absolutely no positive gain for the United States to take on responsibility for all of these problems.

I remember Conservatives and some media outlets criticized Rep. AOC and others for using the term Black Sites in reference to immigrant/migrant holding centers. If this story and accusations are true then we do have a real problem in our country. There’s no justification for off the books facilities unless you’re knowingly committing a crime or doing something unethical.
