I am totally cognizant of what this lady has achieved and take nothing away from her. The 'but' you hear coming isn't race-based, or gender-based. It's technology-based. In a world where satellites can read a postage stamp lying in the street...why do we still need to endanger Americans with the U-2?

Because you can scope things with a U2, you can't with a satellite.

SN Greg Wright My guess is because of the flexibility compared to a satellite. But what surprises me is that drones have not made this aircraft obsolete.
