Biden's $2.3 Trillion Question: Is 'Infrastructure' Now 'Whatever We Want to Spend Money On'?

Spending on infrastructure is badly needed and should have begun years ago. I just wish we could fashion a bill that is about infrastructure only and not include all the other stuff. Sticking to the purpose of legislation and excluding non-related stuff is something we just seem incapable of doing

Just like the Covid relief bill only about 650 billion was for actual covid related relief the rest was pork, bail out of blue states mismanagement and pay outs to groups that supported the democrats this past election. So why should the next bill be any different, call it something the public will like and think we need, triple the money and use most of that money on stuff that has nothing to do with the actual bill. In the past they used to stick a few pork barrel projects on a bill to make some senator or congress person happy, now it seems they just said the hell with it lets triple the cost and spend spend spend.
