This is why I cringe/laugh every time I hear someone say "The government oughta do sumthin'!" We wouldn't even have a vaccine if President Trump hadn't done all he could to get the government out of the way. Now I'm getting to watch California screw up the delivery. If you're having a problem, don't wait for President Biden to do anything. He has more important agenda items. Sign back on to the Paris Climate Accord. Rejoin WHO. Cancel the Keystone Pipeline. Raise the minimum wage for federal workers. Welcome illegal aliens. Busy, busy...

I suspect he is doing the old “underpromise, overdeliver” play. Like you, I think perhaps this problem needs an aggressive goal instead.

SPC Kevin Ford I will not take credit for what someone else expressed, and I have not made a comment here to that effect.

What I do have a problem with in this and related articles are the presupposition that the previous presidential administration did not have a plan or a well thought out one, which is a bald and bold lie from the current presidential administration.

SSG Robert Webster - I'm not sure it is a lie. He never expressed such a plan publicly for distribution or treatment other than, that's the state's problem. If there was such a plan, no one seems to be able to find it.

Did you miss the Trump administration in their final days saying that they would release all of the vaccine in storage only to find out later that there was no vaccine in storage. None. No distribution plan for the vaccine. Nothing. So here we are with nothing to draw upon and its like starting from scratch. Hospitals are still short of PPE nearly a year later. People still refusing to wear a mask, social distance or take even the simplest of actions to prevent their getting the virus or their spreading it. Republicans still believe it is a hoax and refuse to push for compliance to basic precautions.

I have to point out that allowing pharmacies to provide the vaccines will only cause problems. You will see fights at local pharmacies, long lines as people fight to secure their first shot. I see no other option other then mass vaccination clinics that operate 24/7 to get people vaccinated in the beginning. after you start to reach 60-70% vaccinated then branching out to pharmacies can be a doable avenue to continue the vaccination campaign.

You are accepting a line of fecal matter. I would suggest that you clean the wax out of your ears, and either take the blinders off or have an eye examination completed and get a new set of clinical optics to assist you.

SSG Robert Webster - Just didn't bother to be original, did you?
I'm assuming after nine hours you couldn't and didn't find any information to refute what I said, did you?
It is truly ok, Robert. You don't always have to be the smartest kid in class. Just be an adult about it when you're wrong like you would expect everyone else to be.
