There is no slippery slope. This is the brick wall at the BOTTOM of the slippery slope.

Community caretaking was the beginning of the slope. If this is allowed to stand, we will have hit the brick wall going quite fast.

Id say on the premises of the 4th amendment I disagree. You can't conduct unwarranted search and seizures.

You are right, but the SCOTUS is silent about the trashing of the First and Second Amendment, why not the Fourth.

LTC David Brown I read the Story and the Writ. It would seem that this case is about "Officer Guesswork" imposing a DeFacto ERPO and using "community care" as an excuse to violate Mr. Caniglia's 2nd and 4th.
