I can't believe recently they use flash bangs and nearly blew a person's arm off a week ago. MRAPs, water cannon in sub freezing temps and such a sad situation. Maybe they need to reroute the pipeline since its a sad state there in ND.

The flash-bang incident is under investigation. There is a possibilty that some of the more radical protesters were trying to rig a homemade IED from a small propane tank and it detonated on them.

1stSgt Eugene Harless - it's a mess but protesters or radicals burned two military vehicles that resemble deuce and a half trucks and Suv at a roadblock. I saw report of female elder upset at radical elements defeating protest by violence 2 weeks ago. Father of victim disputes that account of IED. Shrapnel consistent with flashbang.

They need to reroute it then...but.... The Natives may have been brainwashed by the Green Party. If they reroute it and put it away from the Missouri, the environmentalists will find some other excuse to block it. The Water protectors and other natives need to make sure their people stay sober, stay away from drugs and stop committing suicide like has been happening all over Native lands. My wife is Native and I am talking about the poverty, corruption and drug abuse that has happened to many or most Native tribes whose Chiefs and Council make money but they don't work for the people but for themselves. The Pipeline could have given them some financial security. If it is over then now the Natives have to go back to cleaning up their own reservation and setting up the success for their future generations.

The pipeline never crossed their territory so they would not have made any money from the easement.

PO3 Ricky Foster - thanks for letting me know. This water protector saying I kind of empathize with the natives their spirituality but now that they have no water and protects and I got to protect their own people because they have to worry about the alcohol and drugs and corruption in most native reserves reservations and I'm talking about this is a subject matter expert because my wife belongs to one and she purposely lives off the reserve to avoid being in a fourth world country also known as an Indian Reservation or Reserve that is as corrupt as Mexico.

I understand i am 1/2 Cherokee and there are several reservations in our area in OK. They are a sad site, but also in our area most have opened casino's in the last 10 years after the relaxation of state laws. Most of the tribe don't see a dime of it other than employment.
