He will probably be going to jail because I bet that the dog was not registered, he didn’t have a sign that said beware of the dog and people, he didn’t have a permit for the dog, and he didn’t mail a certified letter to the criminal warning him of the dog on bright orange paper with neon yellow letters.

I escorted a person off my property with a Marlin 30/30 and a very large Newfoundland retriever. The dog had the most fun. Got a visit from the County Sheriff who informed me that "person" better have a long life! LOL

Cpl Scott McCarroll - I have a friend who had a Rottweiler. Most dangerous thing about this dog was that it thought it was a small lapdog. I am 6'2" tall and a hefty guy, so it was ok, but when he would sit on her daughter's lap, the kid would disappear.

Great Danes are sweet dogs, but you sure wouldn't want one to be pissed at you and have a reason to chase you. Great story all around!
