We already have a whole slew of them. All I need in one Ohio Class SSGN. With 158 Tomahawks and 66 SOC operators I would sneak in take out the missile boy, key C&C then the Tomahawks would set the country back to the middle ages. Problem is that everything would have to be flawless and we would have to hope that some cowboy on the border does not open up on Soul with his auxiliary once he figured out they were screwed.

PO1 Tony Holland I understand the NEED for a second strike capability, but I sincerely hope it is never pressed into service for its designed purpose.

We already have this capability, many times over. Yes, the Ohio class is getting old, they were started in 1981, but this is really just a replacement for them. Let's not forget that some of our Surface Ships and Air Force Platforms can do the same job it super stealth is not needed. (I am just saying that a boomer is a little more stealthy than a bomber. So all you AF jocks can stop getting your shorts twisted now.)
