I was going to post this tomorrow (2.16.2021) but I have to work my IT shift and I have another important report to do, so I am posting it this afternoon.
This is the 1st of a few videos regarding Warp Speed or Warp Drive, which involves curving or manipulating Spacetime... I've taken you through Gravity, Special Relativity, Spacetime Curvature, and General Relativity... LTC Greg Henning - We are on the cusp... In my view We still have some learning to do, but when you watch the video, or if you've watched it, what we need to know is/will be explained...

My main concern would be impacting things in space, at that speed. How would a space craft be able to negotiate a safe travel, from point A to point B, without collateral dameage?

That has been discussed by physicists and it is part of the overall process... Remember that it is spacetime that is moving...not the craft, which rides a "gravity wave" so-to-speak...and is not moving relative to the warp of spacetime it rides.
